On 2 May 2026, twenty-eight Form 5 students from Buddhist Ho Nam Kam College participated in a rewarding Joint-School English Oral Practice with two other schools. The atmosphere was charged with intellectual curiosity as students from different backgrounds converged to sharpen their communication skills. The practice encouraged students to step beyond their comfort zones and engage in high-level oral interactions.
Students found the practice exceptionally useful, noting that their groupmates from other schools were supportive and facilitative. This synergy fostered an inclusive environment where every participant felt empowered to contribute, effectively simulating the authentic pressure and dynamics of public examinations.
The experience was further elevated by the enlightening guidance provided by experienced teachers. Rather than general critiques, teachers offered constructive and actionable advice, pinpointing specific technical areas for growth while affirming existing strengths. Our students departed with a promising outlook, equipped with both the confidence and the self-driven desire to reach new heights in their upcoming exams.
