全校參與照顧學生的多樣性:
悉心照顧全校學生︰
1. 中一實行3班主任制。
2. 設立不同分組教學模式,以照顧不同學生的學習需要。
3. 採用「立體輔導」,輔導組、學生支援組及生涯規劃組透過有機結合,多重進路為有需要同學提供更精準援助。
4. 提供教育心理學家、臨床心理學家、言語治療師、職業治療師、3名社工及3名輔導員的專業支援。
5. 提供課後功課輔導班,鞏固學習基礎。
6. 額外聘用十多名不同專長助理教師及助理,以協助發展同學的不同潛能。
7. 設立「才藝人生計劃」,提供超過40項的潛能發展活動。
全校參與模式融合教育:
1. 採用「全校參與」模式推行融合教育,致力建立共融文化。「學生支援小組」成員包括副校長、特殊教育需要統籌主任、教育心理學家、言語治療師、臨床心理學家、職業治療師、中、英、數科任老師、社工及助理教師,為有特殊學習需要的學生提供全面專業支援。
2. 本校靈活運用「學習支援津貼」,支援學生各方面的發展。學習支援方面,透過「適異教學設計」、「通用學習設計」、多元化教學策略、各項課後學習支援措施等,照顧學生學習的多樣性。學生成長方面,舉辦不同的體驗活動、生涯規劃項目,以發展學生的多元智能,為他們創造成功機會。
3. 本校重視家校合作,積極與家長保持溝通,除建立恆常溝通機制外,更會舉辦線上家長講座會、家長晚會、家長日等與家長接觸,共同檢視學生在校情況,更為個別學生訂定學習計劃,讓家長掌握有效照顧及教導子女的方法。
Whole School Approach to Catering for Learner Diversity:
Devoting our care to all of our students:
1. Three class teachers for all Secondary 1 Classes.
2. Develop a Teaching mode with different groupings to cater for students’ learning needs.
3. Implementing the “Multi-Dimensional Counselling Strategy”, the Counselling Team, the Student Support Team and the Career Guidance Team will collaborate with each other to provide a much more precise counselling service for students.
4. Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, 3 Social Workers and 3 Counsellors are available to provide professional counselling services for students.
5. Offering after-school tutorial classes to consolidate students’ learning.
6. Recruiting a dozen of teaching assistants with various strengths to help students unleash their potential.
7. Setting up over 40 kinds of after-school activities for students to join
Whole School Approach to Integrated Education:
1. Adopting a Whole School Approach to promote Inclusive Education and communion culture. A Student Support Team including the Vice Principal, SENCO, Education Psychologist, Speech Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, teachers from core subjects departments, social workers and assistant teachers provide all-rounded support for students with special learning needs.
2. Flexible use of Learning Support Grant to support students in all aspects of learning. For learning, students’ diversity is catered by differentiated instruction, Universal Design for Learning Framework, diversified teaching strategies and after-school learning support. For Students’ growth, various experiential learning, life-planning programs are launched to develop students multiple intelligence and create opportunities for success.
3. Our school attaches on importance to the cooperation between parents and school. In addition to establishing constant communication, the team also actively meets parents on Parent Days to review the situation of students and set study plans for individual students. All these measures let parents adapt a more effective way to take care and guide their children.
