This exciting lunchtime activity is a component of Reading Across the Curriculum (RAC), organized by the English Department. It aims to enhance students’ understanding of various subjects through English, fostering essential skills while encouraging independence and self-direction in learning. By exploring adapted materials from the Form 1 History textbook about Ancient Greece, students can familiarize themselves with key vocabulary and concepts in a fun way.
As part of the festivities leading up to the Chinese Lantern Festival, students who participated in and completed all activities received beautiful rose lights to celebrate with friends and family. The anticipation was contagious, with students eagerly queuing up to join in on the fun!
Our brilliant English helpers added a creative touch by wearing rose lights on their heads, promoting the event with flair. This vibrant celebration not only makes learning enjoyable but also enriches students’ cultural experiences, ensuring that everyone has a memorable time.
