Our students from Form 2 through Form 4 took an exciting step outside the classroom recently to attend an immersive Intercultural Fair. The field trip provided a wonderful opportunity for our secondary students to meet exchange students from across the globe, creating a lively environment for authentic, first-hand discovery.
Throughout the venue, students connected with international peers representing countries such as Italy, Germany, the United States, Slovakia, Finland, and Switzerland. Interactive booths and cultural stations gave everyone a taste of global traditions, featuring traditional foods, native music, interactive language activities, and unique cultural displays. From trying European snacks to picking up basic phrases in Finnish and Italian, our students enthusiastically jumped into every experience.
Beyond being an enjoyable day out, the fair offered an invaluable chance for students to broaden their horizons and deepen their appreciation for global cultures. Engaging directly with foreign exchange students allowed our students to ask questions, practice conversational English, and gain a fresh, global perspective on everyday life.
Events like this remind us how enriching learning can be beyond school grounds. A big thank you to the organizers and exchange students for making this outing such a memorable success!
