On Chung Yeung Festival, our English Drama Team enjoyed a special day out with Mr. Lou. The team visited Kowloon Walled City Park for sightseeing and on-location filming for their upcoming short film.
Filming outdoors proved to be an exciting challenge for our actors. Moving off the quiet school stage meant adapting to outdoor lighting, natural wind, and passing visitors. Under Mr. Lou’s guidance, students learned how to adjust their expressions and voices specifically for the camera lens.
Beyond acting, the trip was a wonderful historical journey. As the team explored preserved relics like the ancient Yamen building, the original South Gate foundations, and archival exhibits, they gained a deeper understanding of how the site transformed from a Qing dynasty military fort into a vibrant neighborhood and modern park.
