On 12 March 2026, the English Drama Promotion was organized by the English Department at lunch time. Students were excited to join the activities related to drama performance skills, such as reading drama scripts with various tones and emotions. Some of the English Drama Team members were wearing sparkling costumes of the characters in the play.
With regard to the school’s concerns, these activities were designed to enhance students’ confidence and arouse students’ interest in English drama performance so that they may play a role in the English drama later on.
The English Drama Show of this year, The Three Musketeers, is based on a story written by a French author Alexandre Dumas in 1844. It was adapted to a school-based English drama script by our English teachers according to the students’ learning needs. The story not only illustrates the importance of solidarity and loyalty among friends, but also encourage students to have determination and courage to pursue their dreams.
With a combined effort of the teachers and English Drama Team members, the English Drama will be put on stage in June.
