價值教育

佛化與價值教育是全人教育的重要元素, 透過各學科課程的講授及多元化學習經歷, 培育學生十二種正面價值觀(堅毅、尊重他人、責任感、國民身份認同、承擔精神、誠信、仁愛、守法、同理心、勤勞、團結及孝親)。 

學校亦希望讓學生透過課堂及課外活動認識佛化精神, 啟發學生的智慧潛能, 培養正知正見的價值觀。  培育學生因果、慈悲、正念(正向價值) 與緣起(天時、地利、人和)等正面價值觀, 令學生能夠學以致用, 付諸實踐, 面對未來生活上的種種挑戰。  

本校參加了教育局及浸信會愛群服務處聯合主辦的樂繫校園獎勵計劃,並獲得大會頒發「樂繫校園情意連繫大獎」,可見本校推行學生成長及價值教育的工作得到外界的肯定。


Religious and Value Education are essential elements of whole-person education which aims at fostering students’ Proper values and attitudes through learning and teaching various subjects and learning experiences. Schools could promote Value Education through nurturing their students the twelve priority values and attitudes: Perseverance, Respect for Others, Responsibility, National Identity, Commitment, Integrity, Benevolence, Law-abidingness, Empathy, Diligence, Unity and Filial Piety.

We also hope our students understand the Buddhist doctrines through classroom learning and extracurricular activities. We inspire students’ wisdom and cultivate the Buddhist values, such as karma, compassion, mindfulness (positive values) and Dependent Origination (time, place, harmony), so that our students could take proper action to deal with the challenges in their future life.

Our school participated in the “Hi-Five Student Engagement Award Scheme” and received the “Mental Health Award”, which is jointly sponsored by the Education Bureau and Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service. This shows that our school has been recognized by the public in terms of promoting student development and Value Education.
