Under the sponsorship of the Project WeCan, the presentation and dissemination of the post-study tour was held in the Chinese University of Hong Kong in late September, 2018 with the other two participating schools.  Here is the detailed recount of the entire morning of that day for sake of understanding what our school learners did throughout the presentation.

1.         PREPARATION PERIOD

All our school learners were busy doing their preparation before the start of the sharing session.  Some of them prepared for their group presentation.  Some posted up their posters for their individual presentation and some practiced their scripts for the master of ceremony for the prize presentation.

2.         GROUP PRESENTATION PERIOD

Our school nominated 4 members who were responsible and remarkable performance in the study tour to be the representatives to trigger off the group presentation.  During this presentation, they were able to portray profoundly how they studied English in the English Studies Centre, lived with their host family in the harmony way and engaged in the excursions so as to unveil what they discovered, learnt and experienced in Leeds in all aspects.

3.         INDIVIDUAL PRESENTATION PERIOD

For sake of facilitating all the tour members to report and reflect how they engaged in this study tour, the designated time slot for the individual presentation allowed all of them to voice out their opinions as well as to practise their speaking and listening English.  All the members were able to create the English-rich environment where everyone had the superb moment to communicate and exchange his or her ideas using English.

4.         PRIZE AWARD PERIOD

This is the last episode in the entire presentation in which there were a couple of prizes to be awarded to the tour members.  The ultimate goals of presenting the prizes to those participants are that they were certainly performing well throughout the tour and they also really wanted to improve themselves in all aspects.

To sum up, organizing this English study tour is by all means not an easy task.  There is a saying like that “Nothing Is Impossible” in this world.  No matter what types of our school’s learners are, only on the condition that there are sufficient scaffolding measures facilitated by our school to cater for the diversities of learners, they are able to learn English better and adapt well in the study tour to England.
