Time flies in Launceston, Australia
Chan Tan Fung 6D
This summer holiday, I had the chance to go to Australia as an exchange student for three weeks. I thought this was a golden opportunity to improve my English and develop independence.

I was very nervous when I boarded the plane with my classmate because this was the first time I flew alone. Our destination was Launceston but we needed to go to Brisbane first. Unluckily, something happened. The flight to Launceston was delayed by an hour. Fearing that our homestay parents might be at the airport on time and have to wait for us for a long time, we phoned the house organization and told them that we would be late. When we arrived at our destination, we were found by our homestay parents.
During these three weeks, I made friends from different countries, such as England, Thailand, China, Korea and France. They were very nice to me.
I had two homestay brothers who came from China and France. From Monday to Friday, I attended school with my homestay brothers to study and learn English. On the weekends, I would watch movies and play chess with my homestay family. It was enjoyable.
Time flies, and three weeks passed quickly. I think it was a rare opportunity for me and I think it not only allowed me to improve my English and become more independent, but it also broadened my horizons. If I have another chance to go to another country, I will take it!

Amazing Australia
Lam Wing Yau  6D
I am glad to have had this opportunity to go to Australia on a three week long exchange tour.  During the tour we went to Tasmania, an outlying island of Australia.  I had many valuable experiences during this trip.  I lived with a local family and went to a local school.  I also visited many tourist attractions with my host family – we went to a chocolate factory and a cheese factory.
This trip taught me more about Australian culture and broadened my horizons.
The most unforgettable experience was going to the zoo.  I saw many lovely animals that I hadn’t seen before.  I took many photos and had a barbeque with the other international students.  We had a wonderful time and it was one of the most memorable days of my life.
All in all, I had an enjoyable, amazing trip. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsors and the school.
